Parimatch Tech opens new HQ in Prague
Parimatch Tech has opened a new European hub in Prague, Czech Republic, aiming to expand its business despite the war in Ukraine.
Previously, the technology supplier, headquartered in Cyprus, centred its research and development (R&D) function in Kyiv, although adapted this space into a co-worker facility at the onset of the war in Ukraine. Alongside this, Parimatch also has co-worker centres in Lviv and Uzhhorod.
The opening of an office in Prague initially provides those employees who were forced to leave Ukraine with a place to work, while in time it will be transformed into Parimatch’s new R&D hub.
Parimatch Tech CEO Maksym Liashko commented: “The opening of the Prague office continues our European expansion. Opening that hub and starting operations in the EU are part of Parimatch Tech’s long-term strategy of developing a global IT cluster.
“We are currently focusing on creating the best working conditions possible for our teams located in the Czech Republic. Our goal is to create a thriving business environment and ensure the safety and well-being of every employee and their family.”
Eventually, Parimatch Tech hopes to expand the new Prague centre to house up to 200 developers, providing technology and marketing solutions to its range of partners.
Parimatch Tech Chief Talent Officer Tatiana Davydova said: “Czech Republic is one of the most prominent European IT clusters, has a reputation of being a safe and comfortable country and offers a high potential for business development.
“Our employment priority will be hiring Ukrainian developers, but we also intend to work with the European talent market. One of the key projects that we intend to re-launch soon will be Parimatch Tech Academy.”
